Hey there, I’m Liv!
It’s nice to (digitally) meet you!
I’m a mixed media artist and sculptural ceramicist who thinks all life could use a dose of artistic whimsy.
Based in Minnesota and rooted in a love for the beautiful messiness of ceramics and the simple joys of life, I derive much of my inspiration from the birthplace of clay: the wilderness. I find that vitality, liveliness, and tangled overgrowth of wild places raise questions about where the natural world and humanity intersect.
I’m a sculptural ceramicist and two-dimensional artist, a natural world enthusiast, and an imaginary who passionately believes in the use of art as a vital medium of telling and exchanging stories. In conjunction with these passions, I am currently completing dual degrees at Bethel University in 2026, including a Bachelor of Arts in Art Therapy and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art with a minor in Art History.
When I’m not in the studio, you’ll find me pouring over a good cup of coffee, hammocking in the woods, playing the guitar, reading mystery novels, and watching rom coms.
If you are looking for someone who will passionately and playfully write visual stories through physical media and take on creative challenges with a glint in her eye, then we’ll get along splendidly!
