Frum Chiyuldhood *
This series of my painted works explores nostalgia through a variety of mixed media and painting mediums. I investigate the ways I recall seeing the world as a child, with pops of bright color and whorling patterns. It’s to capture childhood wonder through the eyes of a young child. The use of vibrancy and tactile media seeks to commemorate the feelings of curiosity, joy, and carefreeness symbolic of girlhood. The beadwork and embroidery enhance the tactile nature of the pieces for a deeper visual experience.
